PropTech deal as deposit service invests in App creator

TDS, the dispute service, has announced an investment in PropTech organisation OpenBrix.

This involves a licensing deal that will see OpenBrix’s tlyfe app launched across the UK.

TDS has already worked with OpenBrix to develop tenancy deposit management features, enabling TDS tenants to view and manage their deposits within the app free of charge. Tenants who download the tlyfe app will also be able to access a range of features being developed by TDS and OpenBrix.     

TDS group chief executive Steve Harriott says: "We're thrilled to be partnering with OpenBrix to help develop tlyfe, an exciting new tenant app to help tenants manage their deposit and their renting experience. In addition to creating the tlyfe app, OpenBrix offer an interactive tenant onboarding system called openflo, a property search portal called search; and a service called mls, which is a multi-listing system to share properties with other estate agents.
