Midlands-based land and property company Sheldon Bosley Knight has made another lettings acquisition - its fifth in 2023.
Leicestershire-based Andrew Granger & Co has joined the fold adding a lettings department of some 1,000 properties alongside a sales operation which lists approximately 400 properties each year.
The company’s rural, commercial and planning departments will also be added to SBK’s portfolio as well as the 50 members of staff who will continue to be based in the offices in Loughborough, Oadby and Market Harborough.
Andrew Granger & Co was established more than 30 years ago and is active across the East Midlands. Directors Andrew Granger & Co, Mark Sandall, Andrew Robinson, Peter Buckingham and Rupert Harrison all continue under SBK ownership.
SBK custodian Mike Cleary says: “As well as sharing similar departments, we share the same values and ethos so it’s an excellent fit for SBK and I am confident we will continue to provide an excellent level of service for vendors, buyers, tenants and landlords in Leicestershire.
“In what has already been an exciting time for SBK in our 180th year, this latest acquisition comes hot on the heels of F2L last month and is our fifth such deal in as many months.”
SBK has more than 120 in-house staff in offices across Coventry and Warwickshire, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Worcestershire and the Cotswolds.
In September Hereford-based Fair2Landlords Limited joined SBK, along with its lettings business of over 600 properties and in June SBK snapped up Chipping Campden-based Andrew Greenwood Estate Agents, with its lettings portfolio.
In the spring Sheldon Bosley Knight launched state-of-the-art premises in Stratford-upon-Avon after a refurbishment programme, and last year it re-launched its auction arm.
