50 not out for tenancy management workforce

A team managing tenancies across the UK has clocked up half a century of working together.

The staff at Tenancy Management Hub, part of the Concentric Sales & Lettings group, have collectively worked together for more than 50 years.

The Hub is run by Dawn Bennett, who has two decades of experience within the industry and previously managed a Concentric branch, with oversight from founder Sally Lawson.

Lawson - best known through her mentoring company Agent Rainmaker - says: “I’ve always found that if you look after people, and run your company with the good of all in mind, the team will stay strong, look after customers and remain loyal.

“I run five companies with multiple sub-teams, of which Tenancy Management Hub is one. Property management is renowned for having a high staff turnover, but that’s not the case for the Hub where collectively the team has now surpassed 50 years of service working together.

“Well done to Dawn on building and managing a great team. It’s only by improving continually and nurturing a caring culture, which in turns ensure customers receive consistent service and expertise, that businesses can flourish in this way.”

Bennett herself adds: “At a time when many business owners complain they can’t recruit, retain staff or get the right people, I feel truly blessed.

“The amazing tenancy manager team have been the bedrock of our white label tenancy management service (where we manage portfolios for other letting agents) since we launched –and even before that when we operated as a franchise tenancy management centre.”
