Hortons lettings agency Hortons has released a new advertisement featuring daytime TV presenter Kerr Drummond - who also happens to be a partner agent in the firm.
Drummond, known to daytime TV viewers for presenting Coast v Country on Channel 4, recites a spoken word poem about what a ‘Home’ means in the ad for Hortons.
Hortons operates from a non-branch office in central Leicester with self employed agents leading their own businesses with the Hortons brand and using the company’s IT platform. The agents cover part of the Midlands and East Anglia - Drummond’s patch for the company is Leamington Spa.
The poem is about the essence of what makes a house a home, emphasising the personal memories, emotions, and experiences that shape the space. It conveys the importance of cherishing and preserving precious memories and experiences while also embracing new journeys and changes in life - particularly when it comes to moving.
The poem was written by Hortons’ marketing director Chloe Horton.
Adam Horton, founder of Hortons, says: “Our new advert brilliantly demonstrates how talented our in-house marketing team is. We want to highlight our true understanding of what a home is, and how we recognise selling a home isn’t just another number to us - we understand how precious it is, and it’s not lost on us how much of a privilege it is to play a part in such an important part of people's lives.”
