A lettings firm’s takeover of an independent rival agency is the start of a period of “exponential growth” according to its head.
Cavendish Rentals - with offices in Chester, Mold, Ruthin and Denbigh - has snapped up CLS Estates in Chester.
CLS was established in 2008 by husband and wife Craig and Kate Paget.
Craig Paget says: “After careful consideration, we chose Cavendish Rentals Ltd to take over our portfolio of sales and lettings. They are a long established, family-owned independent agency, with four local branches, a strong hold in the local marketplace, similar values to ours and a wealth of knowledge that should make the change over as seamless as possible.”
Cavendish Rentals managing director David Adams adds: “The acquisition of CLS Estates marks a period of exponential growth for Cavendish Rentals. We look forward to being able to serve more landlords at a time when they need more support than ever, with the threat of legislation changes and interest rate hikes.
"This year we’ve broken the mould on the typical letting agent business model and no longer just do ‘lettings and management’.
"We now have a new range of services to include investments, off market ‘landlord to landlord’ property sales and increasing support for self managed landlords with tenancy compliance health checks.”
Cavendish Rentals says it wants to acquire other lettings businesses in the Chester and North Wales area.
