Following the merger of the South Scotland and North Cumbria branches of Fine & Country, the agency has added a further office to the brand’s Scottish network.
Directors Gillian Greenwell and Craig Turpie have their sights set on establishing and growing the Fine & Country brand across Edinburgh and The Lothians.
Greenwell says: “We have followed the progress of Fine & Country since inception. The branding and quality of marketing has always stood out above anything else and given our background in marketing and passion for property it is not overly surprising that we have been drawn to the brand. We are passionate about maintaining high fees - being service and results oriented and feel that Fine & Country can take on the large national premium agents who currently dominate the upper quartile of the Scottish market.”
Turpie adds: “Having travelled to the US last year to explore alternative markets and agency models, and subsequently becoming members of the National Association of Realtors in North America we were already building new networks and establishing cross referral arrangements. We now want to build on the Fine & Country referral network, particularly for clients relocating to England or for those looking for a second home abroad.”
Before joining the Fine & Country international network, the pair ran a single-branch independent agency, specialising in new-build sales and marketing and resales in the upper quartile in West Lothian.
Nicky Stevenson, managing director of Fine & Country, comments: “We are very pleased to welcome Gillian and Craig into our global network and feel that their existing offering is a perfect match for our brand. Their attention to detail and emphasis on professional marketing aligns with our core values.
“I believe Fine & Country will be very well received in Edinburgh and The Lothians and will soon become a force to be reckoned with in the upper quartile of the market with Gillian and Craig’s expert authority.”
