ARPM Property Management is committed to developing relationships with its Clients and building long-lasting partnerships.  Dave Hunt, Business Development Director of ARPM Property Management, one of the UK’s largest outsourced lettings providers, explains how:

“At ARPM Property Management, our Directors and Managers have all worked previously within different roles within the Industry and are always keen to share our knowledge and opinions with Clients to help them to develop and grow their own businesses.  We consider each and every Client, however large their portfolio, as a partner to our business and nothing pleases us more than seeing our partners lettings divisions grow and prosper!

Regardless as to whether our Client is a new start or experienced agent, there will always be times when situations will occur which they are grateful of having the opportunity of having someone ‘impartial’ to take advice from.  For instance, a Client was telling me the other day that he’d seen some other local agents using ‘Quick Response Codes’ and had no idea how he could go about using them, so we offered him the following information and TIPS!”.

Quick Response Codes

Quick Response Codes, or QR codes as they are also known, are increasingly becoming integral to the marketing of rented property and lettings businesses, not least because people are more commonly using mobile devices to access websites.

In simply terms, QR codes look like a type of barcode and are designed to be scanned using a smartphone. Unlike standard barcodes, their purpose is to store information like website addresses, taking the person directly to the relevant page of the website. Scanners generally tend to be free and are available to download from app stores.

Generating a QR code tends to be fairly easy too, with manywebsitesavailable offering this service – for around £20 a code (a limited number can even be sourced for free) and all you need is the URL address to the webpage which you would like to direct the person to.

ARPM Tips!

·         Add a QR code to your ‘closed sign’ which when scanned takes the person through to your website – perhaps to your opening hours.

·         Add a QR code to each of your window displays which when scanned takes the person to the individual property particulars on your website therefore allowing them to access all the additional information which the window display advertisement does not provide.

·         Add a QR code to each of your company vehicles which when scanned take the person through to your website, so that they can find out more about your business.

·         Add a QR code to your newspaper advertisements, which when scanned takes the person through to your websites full property listings.

·         Add a QR code to your To Let Boards which when scanned takes the person through to your website full property listings.

·         Add a QR code to your business cards which when scanned takes the person through to your website – perhaps the information to Landlord section.

By taking the time to impart knowledge like the aforementioned to our Clients, we are helping them to meet their desired goals.  Partnering with ARPM Property Management really does help to simplify lettings!”.
