Countrywide Residential Lettings has launched its first graduate management programme.
The two-year programme will equip graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to build a successful career. Full training and development as well as coaching and mentoring will be given to graduates throughout the management programme.
Nick Dunning, group commercial director at Countrywide and head of Countrywide Residential Lettings, said: “As a major employer with over 10,000 employees across the UK, we believe it is important to give young people the opportunity to learn and develop the skills they need to flourish in a business environment.
“We want to employ the best talent for our business, and introducing this graduate management programme is a great way of sourcing and developing the right candidates to meet the needs of our growing business.”
The first intake of successful graduates from across the UK recently completed a four-day induction course at Countrywide House, the group’s head office in Milton Keynes. In addition, the graduates also received the keys to their company car.
Dunning added: “We are delighted to welcome the first group of graduates on to this programme. It is an exciting period for Countrywide Residential Lettings, where the growth of our operation is a major focus for the entire group.
“Since the start of 2012 we have acquired nine lettings businesses and opened 60 new-start branches, with plans for further acquisitions in the pipeline for this year.
“As a group, we are looking to expand the graduate management programme to other business divisions, including estate agency and surveying.”
