Are you a letting agent that is thinking about using mydeposits for your deposit protection requirements? Do you need someone to visit you, in your office to discuss the dispute evidence that you’re supplying for dispute resolution?

If the answer is yes, get in touch with the mydeposits Business Development Team directly the through the new “Meet your Team”page on the mydeposits website.

The team which includes Sean Hooker, Marc Christodoulou and Simon Lacey visit letting agents right across England and Wales and are the dedicated points of contact for our agent members.  They are available by appointment and offer one-on-one training and support on the issues affecting your letting business. They regularly visit new mydeposits members to explain how the scheme works and how to use our systems.

Both Marc and Simon have extensive experience in the sector having worked for letting agencies in previous roles.  The team are very much the face of tenancy deposit protection and run regular workshops and seminars that are focused on the needs of our members.

Now is a good time to get in touch because later this week, mydeposits will be reducing its fee for accredited letting agents.

From 5 April 2012, SAFEagent registered agents will be able to protect deposits from just £10 (plus VAT).

Agents who are members of ARLA, NAEA, RICS and NALS can also protect deposits for just £12 (plus VAT)

mydeposits will still offer protection for non-accredited agents as well, making it the only scheme that does so for those wanting to hold the deposit in their client money account.  Non-accredited agents can protect for £35 per deposit.

If you’re looking to join mydeposits or want to know more about our new pricing, why not get in touch with our team now through the “Meet your team” page HERE.

Joining fees have also been slashed for all agents.  For a breakdown of our new prices click
