What's the buzz?! NALS Conference takes to the social web

The countdown to the NALS Annual Conference 2012 is on!

It takes place on the 4th October at the stunning Guoman Hotel at London Bridge.  It is our third conference and is already shaping up to be our biggest and best.

This year, we are using the social web to increase the reach and influence of the Conference and take it outside of the venue and onto the social web.  This is in keeping with our remit to support our licenced firms in understanding the benefits of embracing digital technology and social media.

We hope the social web activity will increase pre- and post-event conversations and also allow delegates to network and connect on-line as well as off-line.

Prior to the event, we will be featuring our speakers on this very blog with short interviews about their thoughts on the private rented sector and what they will be speaking about at the Conference.

With over 200 people set to attend, we should be able to create quite a buzz on-line!

Most events say "Please turn off your mobile", but we actively want to you to tweet and share from the Conference, so don't forget to bring your phone so that you can share and connect.  We believe that this will increase the value of the Conference for all delegates.

The social web output will also act as a record of the Conference, as the information shared remains on-line in perpetuity and can be referred back to like "minutes of a meeting".
