An apartment is to let in prime central London at £1.17m per year - it is believed to be one of the most expensive homes on the lettings market now yet it is not even close to a record for the capital.
Lettings agency Tunstall Property is offering the 4,000 square feet third-floor, four-bedroom, park-facing apartment within the exclusive residences of One Hyde Park.
Developed by Candy & Candy, One Hyde Park is regarded by some as the benchmark for super-prime apartment buildings. “One Hyde Park is perceived as the pinnacle of luxury property. As the most requested development for ultra-prime lettings in London, we have handled a significant number of transactions there to a range of nationalities. Many of our applicants want to be in that building specifically, or if not then in a development with similar amenities” says the agency’s managing director, Mark Tunstall.
The fully-furnished £22,500 per week let, however, is dwarfed by the same agency’s let in the same complex last year - for £45,000 per week.
Mark Tunstall continues: “There are very few places within London or indeed the world which offer the same level of service and attentiveness in a residential building as One Hyde Park. Quite simply, no detail has been overlooked and it is this which is so important in maintaining the pulling power of a landmark development such as this.”
